This 5 qt. 3 legged cooker is made of lightweight, rust-proof aluminum by GSI Outdoors. So it heats up nice and even, but is just 1/3 the weight of traditional cast iron. No seasoning is required, and the Hard Anodized version is the next best thing to non-stick. The 12" Hard Anodized Dutch Oven fits perfectly in the Dutch Oven Case (sku: 90032) and works well with the Tripod (sku: 40433). Aluminum Dutch Ovens also work great for camping trips on horseback, atv's or river rafting expeditions. The aluminum is very light and weighs half as much as cast iron but they also far superior to use. Out of the box they don't need to be oiled and cured just use them.
