For over 100 years Lodge has been perfecting cast iron cookware. This cast iron skillet is preseasoned by a vegetable oil electrostatic spray system in a high temperature gas oven so that it's ready to use immediately. This skillet has an "assist handle" which allows the chef to use 2 hands on the skillet if necessary.
